About WhereToStart
WhereToStart exists because the internet is very good at telling you what might be wrong and very bad at telling you what to do next.
What we do
We build free, private navigators that help adults in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom work out which kind of help fits a health concern: an at-home test, a clinician, a therapist, a structured programme, or a change at home. We show the free or covered route first, then paid options that meet our inclusion criteria.
What we don't do
- We don't diagnose, treat, prescribe, or give individual medical advice.
- We don't collect or store anything you enter into a navigator.
- We don't let advertisers influence which options appear or in what order.
- We don't sell tests, medicines, therapy or supplements. Every provider we link to is an independent company responsible for its own service.
Who we are
WhereToStart is published by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], a digital product studio registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. [One or two sentences on the founder and why this was built. Networks and readers both look for a real person here.]
[Medical reviewer: name, credentials, registration number (e.g. GMC / state licence). If you don't yet have one, state "Content is written against published clinical guidance and is being prepared for independent clinical review" — and get one before scaling paid traffic.]
How we're funded
WhereToStart is free to use. When you click a link marked Sponsored and buy or sign up, the company pays us a commission. It costs you nothing extra and is the only way the site earns money. Full details are in our advertising and affiliate disclosure.
